The new
roof process consisted of removal of 3 existing rock roofs and
repair of the deck in preparation of the new roof system from
Johns Manville.
The roof system installed was one layer of APP base sheet mechanically
fastened and one layer of Johns Manville mineral surfaced APP
membrane, “torch applied”.
Heat guns were on site to spot check for hot spots and a 2-hour
fire watch prevented any unwanted flare-ups.
This roof can be coated white for additional years of service
and savings.
The white acrylic coating from Thermo-Products works in two
ways. First the white coating will contain the oils that are
in the roof that retain flexibility and longevity.
The white coating also reflects the suns heat keeping the interior
cooler thereby lowering your cooling cost.
Phase 2
The chapel
steeple was power-washed, repaired and coated with Thermo- Products
Super-Prep white acrylic coating at a rate of 3 gallons per 100
square feet.
The Thermo coating used on the steeple also as an
attractive appearance and works as a waterproofing agent.
